Good evening blog followers! If you haven't noticed yet, booties are the new hot shoe, I see them more than star bucks! (okay..that's probably a lie). However I am sad to admit, I only own one pair and they don't even have a heel! I thought to myself... This is just embarrassing. So, instead of strutin' down the street to the closest Aldo to drop half my rent (exaggeration) I decided to pop into the Salvation Army to see if they had any options! I was looking and looking then BAM! A big light flashed around a brown heeled pair of booties... they fit (okay... they're a little big, so I'll just wear thick socks). 

TIP: If you need/want accessories/jackets/clothes whatever go to your closest second hand store! You won't find these deals if you don't look there... and you probably will find SOMETHING awesome even isn't what you were looking for. 

BACK ON TRACK: I was SO happy and enthused that I went accessory crazyy! I bought an over sized bracelet that hardly fit my unnaturally small wrists, and a wicked purse!

So, you think to be in fashion you need to spend buckets of money and probably give up a limb? The answer is.... hell no, girl! If you take the time to look there are name brand clothing, accessories and shoes everywhere, and for 1/8th of the price! I am going to prove to you non-believers (or show you believers) where these clothes are hiding (probably in my closet). 


PLUS Isn't vintage clothing always in fashion? Yet, vintage clothing isn't available in your average stores, therefore we must go elsewhere: thrift/vintage/2nd hand clothing stores! That's right ladies. It's time to show the world that us girls who have limited access to expensive brands because of location AND/OR limited funds can still be just as in style!! 

But wait, we need shoes!! The completion of every outfit always ends (or begins) with shoes! I bought these boots at a thrift shop called Elsies on Queen St. for.... $20.00. Can I get a "what what?!" .. Actually, please don't say that.
